Off to be a student for the day instead of a teacher.

Often when I do get out of my little sanctuary buried deep within the NJ Pine Barrens, it is to go and wear my Teacher Hat and give a class or meet a client or some other thing like that.

Today is different.

I am headed up to the Bronx to spend the day shooting the shit about magic with my main mentor John Myrdhin Reynolds, also known as Lama Vajranatha. Best yet, we are going to have our bi-annual pow-wow in the temple rooms above Originals, the largest Botanica in the United States.

Neither of us are giving a teaching. No other students. Maybe some chats with Lady Rhea when she is not cranking out candles, but for the most part, there is no plan.

So just to count down:

1. Day hanging out with Lama-la
2. Shopping at the largest Botanica in the US
3. More really good and cheap ethnic food than you can imagine (which I do not get at all in South Jersey)

Yeah. Its gonna be a good day.

    Sounds like a good time.

Is this the same Lady Rhea who published the enchanted Candle and the enchanted Formulary?

    The very same.

Yesterday was one of those conversations that I wish I had someone recording. We talked Tibetan Sorcery, Candle Magic, Magic business, 21 Taras, St Barbara, Santa Muerte, Hoodoo Powders in relation to Tibetan Sadhanas, etc. Really nice way to spend an afternoon.
