I very often talk about the things that I am currently trying to teach to others.
I occasionally talk about things that I am actually doing for others and myself.
I very rarely talk about the places I am going with my work and the focus of my experimental magic.
Since last summer I have been involved in exploring new systems of energy work, magical work with various dimensions, and the potential of what I have been calling “Facets of the Flow”. One of the very important mechanisms for this has been the glyph called “Metatrons Cube”. Specifically focused on the Tesseract inside the cube.
As a side note, I am aware of Drunvalo Melchizedecks work with the cube and have avoided even reading about it until I was sure what I was doing with it. I did recently read his books on the flower of life, and while 90% of it is total New Age bunk, there is no denying that the counter-spinning Tetrahedron technique of his yields some interesting results….
Anyway, I would not have been able to do the work that I am doing now if years ago I had not read “Flatland” in high school and decided that I needed to work on perceiving things in more than three dimenions. I eventually accomplished this solely through meditation, desire, vision work, and good ole fashioned “thinkin bout it”. There was no one thing I could point to.
Today I found a really great article on 4 dimensional objects and differential topography. I encourage anyone that is interested in this kind of thing to read it. If all this seems like fantastic hooey and nothing to do with real magic because it was not written in a Grimoire 200 years ago, or practiced by “genuine old-timey conjure men” than you probably can skip it.
I remember reading a book in grade 8, The Boy Who Reversed Himself, which also got me “turned on” to the 4th and higher dimensions. In it, a girl meets up with a classmate who is able to rip himself out of the typical 3 dimensions, and move “ana” and “kata” in the 4th dimension. It did a really good job of explaining what 4d beings might look like if they moved through the 3 dimensions in which we live.
Obviously, it left an impact on me.
YES! read this article yesterday and its just mind blowing. I sometimes muse about possible connections between Vajrayana/Dzogchen and higher dimensions but a lot has been going on in differential geometry that I had no idea about
“It is now known that 4-dimensional space itself (or R4) comes in a variety of flavours. There is the usual flat space, but alongside it are the exotic R4s… there are actually infinitely many of these alternative realities.”
I would love to hear more about your exploration of “new systems of energy work, magical work with various dimensions, and the potential of what I have been calling ‘Facets of the Flow’”.
Hey Jason,
Are you aware of Ebony Anpu’s, a deceased but revered Thelemite, Tesseract Magick?
I’m sure you’ll find it of interest:

I am aware of Hawk and Jackles Tesseract magick. I learned about it several years ago when Behutet did s couple stories on him, and it peaked my interest enough to track down an informant and get an introduction to their work.
I am simultaneously impressed and terribly disappointed in it.
I am impressed because while most magic does work automatically in these other dimensions of time and probability and space, not many have done the work necessary to touch these aspects directly. He and they did and they deserve credit for that. Their work with drawing on the power of future members of the current, and passing down to past members (as in their tool consecration) is inspired and to really get a grip on the whole of reality and magic you NEED to understand how things can move backward through time.
I am incedibly disappointed because rather than running away in this new vehicle they have come across and seeing where it takes them, they seem like most Thelemites, hell bent on making it conform with Thelemic symbolism and clumsy Khabbalah, and terrible tarot associations. The use of these symbols in their work weighs it down horribly and actually makes it less stable than it could be.
Its like they used a boat (Thelemic Magic and Qabbalah) to cross and ocean and arrive on a distant shore (dimensional magic). Instead of tying the boat off at the shore and moving ahead on land unfettered, they have decided to tie the boat around their necks and drag it with them wherever they go. Carrying a boat makes climbing a mountain difficult.
From my own work with the Tesseract jumping, universe creation, and probability hopping, I can tell you that 90% of the dangers that they face and talk about stem from them not meditating and knowing their own minds intimately.
Anyway, that is my opinion. Yours may differ.
I’m going to assume you know this site:

I’m also working along some fairly similar lines, and am developing my range of talks on metaphysics vs string theory for the autumn. Thanks for the link, I’ll be going over this.
I do like that Video, though I work with more directions than that.
I would be very interested in the metaphysics vs string theory piece.
